David – a 6-foot-3 tight end from Hollywood, Fla. - currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Louisville, Memphis, Nebraska, Rutgers and South Florida, and just recently got another offer from Wisconsin.
"I received the offer from Wisconsin this past spring but I didn't know about the offer till just recently when my football coach told me about the offer from them," David told Badger Nation. "I know a little bit about Wisconsin but I'll have to take a closer look at Wisconsin. There currently in my top ten right now."
There have been few schools in the country that can stack up to the tight end alumni Wisconsin can boast or an offense that features the tight ends more than the Badgers. With the success of Lance Kendricks, Garrett Graham, Travis Beckum and Owen Daniels all in the NFL have become a selling point to tight end recruits.
"I saw Lance Kendricks play a couple of times last year on TV and I knew he was drafted," David said. "I was impressed how Wisconsin used him in their offense."
Although David is still recovering from his injury, it hasn't slowed him down this summer on trying to improve his game.
"I've been limited in what I can do with my injury," David said. "I've been rehabbing hard and trying to get back to full strength. I should be fully healed by September. I've been catching passes, learning how to properly tuck the ball away, and I'm trying to get stronger."
David won't be making any decision soon because he wants to continue to make visits to the colleges that are recruiting him.
"I'll decide sometime during my season or after my season is done," David said. "Whenever I feel it's the right time to make a decision I will. When I do announce I want to make sure it's the correct decision."
