Upping the Hype

There was already going to be plenty of hype around No.4 Wisconsin's first true road game at Michigan Stat next weekend. The primetime atmosphere will get an added boost with ESPN's College Game Day headed to East Lansing for the first time since 2005 to feature the two Big Ten division front runners.

MADISON - Game day just got a little bigger in East Lansing.

Adding to the hype of Wisconsin's first road game on Saturday will be the appearance of ESPN's 'College Gameday' coming to Michigan State's campus for the fifth time overall and the first time since 2005.

The show will begin at 9 a.m. central in preparation for the 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN.

College Gameday was also on hand for the Badgers' 48-17 victory over Nebraska in Madison earlier this year, and Wisconsin (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) showed no hangover in its next game, a 59-7 drubbing over Indiana Saturday.

Michigan State (6-1), which jumped into the AP Poll at No.23, is looking to improve to 3-0 in Big Ten play and beat Wisconsin for a second straight year. The last regular-season loss was to the Spartans and Wisconsin hasn't won in East Lansing since 2002.

The matchup pits both favorite in its respective division. The Badgers are the last undefeated team in the Big Ten, while the Spartans are the lone Legends Division team without a conference loss after Saturday's 28-14 win over Michigan, their fourth straight win over the rival Wolverines.

The Badgers maintained their No.4 ranking the AP, Coaches and Harris poll.
