Comments - I first found about Jerry Wasikowski when he was a sophomore at Cudahy High School.
Head Coach Jeff Cavanaugh said Wasikowski was going to be a good one and he was right.
Wasikowski shows some very good athleticism on film and he does have the ability to play D-1 football.
"Northern Illinois is close to offering me a scholarship," said Wasikowski.
"Iowa, Purdue, Wisconsin and Duke all called during May. My favorites are Northwestern, Iowa, Purdue, Wisconsin and Illinois."
Wasikowski will be a three-year starter on both sides of the ball in 2003. He had 20 catches from his tight end position in 2002 but was named all-conference on the defensive side of the ball as a safety.
Jerry will be very busy this summer on the camp circuit.
"I'm going to Vanderbilt, Iowa, Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Michigan and Duke this summer." Wasikowski said.
Wasikowski also letters in basketball and track.
