Third Offer in for Biegel

His recruitment hasn't quite gotten to the national level like his older brother, but Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln offensive line Hayden Biegel is doing pretty good for himself, picking up his third overall offer and second from the Big Ten Thursday.

MADISON - A month after coming to Wisconsin for the school's junior day, Hayden Biegel now has a clearer picture of how much UW coach Bret Bielema and the Wisconsin coaching staff value him as a prospect.

On a day where he needed cheering up after getting his wisdom teeth pulled, Biegel pulled in his second Big Ten offer from the Badgers.

"Well, I knew Wisconsin was interested in me," Biegel told Badger Nation, "but I was not expecting an early offer."

Biegel - a 6-6, 240-pound offensive tackle - has already picked up offers from North Dakota and Illinois. While the opportunity to play just down the road and be teammates with his brother, incoming freshman Vince Biegel, is a dream come true, the younger Biegel is still going to weigh his options.

"I'm just keeping my options open," said Biegel. "But I am definitely excited to the opportunity to go to Wisconsin."

Wisconsin is expected to sign between 10 and 12 players in the 2013 recruiting class.
