LSU Latest to Offer Pocic

With his scholarship offer list soaring into the 20s, Lemont (Ill.) offensive tackle Ethan Pocic picked up another big offer Monday from LSU.

MADISON - With over 20 scholarship offers to start sorting through, Lemont High (Ill.) offensive lineman Ethan Pocic has blocked all outside communication to start focusing on his growing list.

Over the last month, the 6-6, 280-pound Pocic went on his southern swing, making campus visits to Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Tennessee. On Monday, he got an offer that will likely make him head back south, as LSU, last year's national runner-up, extended him his 23rd offer.

"I got the offer today from coach (Greg) Studrawa," Pocic told Badger Nation, referring to the Tigers' offensive coordinator. "I had been just getting mail from them, so I was very impressed."

The younger brother of Illinois standout offensive lineman Graham Pocic, the younger Pocic – rated a four-star athlete and the No.6 offensive tackle in the country by Scout.com – has a mix of Midwest and SEC schools.

Pocic said Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Illinois, Iowa, LSU Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, LSU and Wisconsin are among his list of favorites, but he hasn't officially made a top group yet.

"I have not narrowed it down yet," Pocic said. "I am not rushing myself."
