Just how good is Ohio's Brock Bolen? I've seen film of both Bolen and Pennsylvania standout Dan Connor and both prospects remind me of each other.
I loved Brock Bolen on film because he's just a football player, nothing fancy, just line up and play tough, Midwest football.
If I'm alone in a dark alley, I want Brock Bolen with me. They don't come any tougher than this young man and he's going to be a very good college football player.
"I have it narrowed down to Wisconsin, Ohio State, Illinois and Michigan State," said Bolen.
"I'd like to make a decision soon, so I can concentrate on my senior season but I don't have a timetable for making a decision. I could make it tomorrow or in August.
"I really don't have a leader, everyone is about equal right now. I've been to Ohio State for camp and I've been to Wisconsin twice. I've also visited Illinois and I plan on visiting Michigan State this summer as well."
Bolen, a 6-foot, 230-pound, running back/linebacker from Germantown (Ohio) Valley View, rushed for 2,287 yards and scored 43 touchdowns as a junior.
He was named 2nd team all-state, all-district and all-conference.
