Ryan Tuggle, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound, tight end, defensive tackle from Bartlett, Illinois is a prospect to watch in 2003.
Tuggle will be a three-year varsity starter in 2003. He could play on either side of the ball at the next level, most likely as an offensive guard or defensive tackle.
"I have an offer from Northern Illinois right now," said Tuggle.
"My favorites are Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Boston College and Northern Illinois.
"Iowa wants me as a offensive lineman, Wisconsin is talking about being a defensive lineman. Other schools are saying tight end. I don't have a preference, I just want to play and get on the field."
Tuggle had 60 tackles, 11 pass deflections, six sacks and an interception as a junior. Ryan has already camped at Iowa and Wisconsin and plans on attending a long snapping camp at the end of July.
Tuggle will also be a three-year varsity starter on the basketball team in 2003.
