Notes: The Badgers won their 10th-consecutive Big Ten opener. Wisconsin is one of just three teams to win each of their last 10 conference openers, joining Kansas and Gonzaga ... UW notched its 16th-straight home win over Penn State, the conference's fourth-longest active home win streak vs. a Big Ten opponent. Overall, the Badgers have won 16 of the last 18 meetings with the Nittany Lions ... Bo Ryan improved to 133-54 (.711) in Big Ten games, the second-highest winning percentage in conference history (trailing only Ohio State's Thad Matta, .712) ... Senior Ryan Evans tallied 13 points, his fourth consecutive double-digit scoring game and ninth of the season. Wisconsin holds a record of 8-1 when Evans scores in double figures. Evans was just one board shy of a double-double, finishing with a team-best nine rebounds ... Senior Jared Berggren finished with 13 points, his fourth consecutive and 12th double-digit scoring performance this season. Berggren scored nine points in the first half and was held scoreless in the second half until hitting back-to-back dunks with less than two minutes remaining in the game ...
