"I found out about the Wisconsin offer from my coach," Andrews told Badger Nation. "I don't know too much about them, but it's definitely a big offer and they're a school with a lot of tradition to them. Wisconsin is just a school being known as prestige and winning tradition and an overall great program.
"I'm just so excited about the offer and everything they have to offer."
The 6-6, 220-pound Andrews has received over offers 20 and that is largely due to his breakout sophomore campaign in which he was named the state's player of the year by the Arizona Republic.
"This past season was very good," Andrews said. "I had 81 catches for 1,500 yards and 21 touchdowns, so that has really brought on my recruitment. My recruitment has been very good and everything is definitely getting hectic, but has been very good."
Based on his productivity, size and catching ability hands, Andrews is being pressed hard by a slew of schools in and out of his region in addition to Wisconsin.
"Both in-state schools (Arizona, Arizona State), Michigan and Oklahoma are going pretty hard, Notre Dame and UCLA," said Andrews. "There's a lot of schools but those are a few that are really pushing hard."
An early four-star recruit and ranked the No.10 wide receiver in the country by Fox Sports Next, Andrews recently visited Arizona State and is going to Oklahoma March 9, Ohio State April 18, Michigan April 19 and Notre Dame April 20.
"I'm still trying to find out my other visits," said Andrews. "Wisconsin is definitely a school I'm talking about visiting, too."
Wisconsin will have plenty of time to get Andrews on campus for a visit with a decision far off on the horizon.
"I'm taking it slow," said Andrews. "I just want to make sure I make the right decision. I don't think I'll be able to decide or commit or anything like that until after my senior season. I'm looking to take it slow and be sure about my decisions."
