Virginia Beach (VA) Bishop Sullivan Catholic wide receiver Jamil Kamara
cut his list of over 25 scholarship offers down to a final nine by the end of April. On Sunday, Kamara trimmed his list again and made some slight variations.
Here are the seven that made the cut for Kamara: Virginia, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Miami, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh and Wisconsin.
The 6-2, 205-pound Kamara eliminated LSU, Tennessee, North Carolina and West Virginia from his original final nine while adding the Mountaineers and the Spartans.
Kamara said recently he plans summer visits to Vanderbilt, Virginia, Miami and possibly visits to Michigan State and the West Coast. He also is unsure of when he is going to Wisconsin, but says he plans to visit before his decision.
As a junior, Kamara had 42 catches for 820 yards and 12 touchdowns on offense. He also had 40 tackles and three interceptions on defense. Then on special teams, he returned a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns.
