Indispensable Badger #43

Counting down the days to Wisconsin opens training camp, Badger Nation's new summer feature will rank the 50 most indispensable players of the 2013 Wisconsin football team. Today we reveal No.43.

Jack Keeler

Position: Offensive lineman

Experience: Freshman

Strengths: Big, strong frame that will be a nightmare for defensive coordinators in the future.

Weaknesses: Although Keeler is somewhat quick off the ball, he needs to work on the quickness in order to work himself into the starting tackle role at Wisconsin.

Overall: With 28 scholarship offers from various universities throughout the country, Keeler entered his senior season considered to be one of the top ten offensive tackles in the country according to Tom Lemming. The three-star Fox Sports Next recruit committed to Bret Bielema's coaching staff but quickly became comfortable with Gary Andersen and his staff following the coaching change.

Keeler wants to impact the Badgers now, but his depth chart status is unknown as of now. The Badger commit is considered a steal to most scouts. He has the same frame and power as other Badger NFL draft picks in the past, standing 6-7 and weighing 285 pounds. Look for Keeler to step in for a few reps here and there.

Up Next: An in-state walk-on, our No.42 player has a chance to solidify a group in need of building quality depth.
