Indispensable Badger #38

Counting down the days to Wisconsin opens training camp, Badger Nation's new summer feature will rank the 50 most indispensable players of the 2013 Wisconsin football team. Today we reveal No.38.

Reggie Love

Position:Wide Receiver

Experience:Sophomore

2012 Stats: Played in seven games … recorded first career catch for 19 yards against Utah State on Sept. 15 (only catch of the season).

Strengths:Bigger frame compared to opposing defenders makes Love's potential very high. He is a very athletic receiver with the ability to step in if needed.

Weaknesses:Lack of experience will more than likely separate Love from other receivers. Has not played enough football yet to be close to his potential.

Overall: Although Love has played football for only a few years, he has exceeded expectations. Yes he has not had much experience with plays, but he is learning quickly and will find ways to contribute in the future. His size and quick pivots set him apart from other receivers.

Look for Love to step in for a few reps here and there for the Badgers. He also has great size and will use that to his advantage. Love will gain valuable experience behind the top receivers and will be a giant contributor in years to come.

Up Next: Our No.37 player is on his third position in his Wisconsin career, but his strength, size and athleticism could make him a valuable piece in Wisconsin's 3-4 defense.
