James Adeyanju

Position: Defensive Line

Experience: Redshirt Sophomore

2012 Stats: Saw action at Indiana on Nov. 10 and against Minnesota on Oct. 20 ... made Badger debut at Purdue on Oct. 13, recording one tackle.

Strengths: Adeyanju is a powerful defensive lineman that is also quick off the ball. He can get to the quarterback quicker than most and stays aggressive the entire game.

Weaknesses: Although Adeyanju is powerful, he also needs to work on his explosiveness off the line. Adeyanju also needs to work on getting stronger and stronger just to make him more of a threat to opposing offensive lines.

Overall: This three-star recruit according to is a powerful presence for the Badgers and will look to play more reps as the season goes on. His pass rushing ability is far superior than the average defensive lineman.

With the loss of Gilbert, Adeyanju will have the opportunity to work with the first-team defense. as he is electrifying. Look for Adeyanju to not only make an instant impact on defense, but look for him to shine in the future.
