Indispensable Badger #24

Counting down the days to Wisconsin opens training camp, Badger Nation's new summer feature will rank the 50 most indispensable players of the 2013 Wisconsin football team. Today we reveal No.24.

Dallas Lewallen

Position: Offensive Guard

Experience: Redshirt Junior

Strengths: Lewallen has a giant frame at 6-6 and 330 pounds. His frame allows him to push opposing defenses back and punish them whenever he blocks.

Weaknesses: Lewallen's lack of experience is his major downfall. He has only played in six games his entire career because of major knee injuries.

Overall: Lewallen is a powerful offensive lineman that fits the bill for the typical Badger offensive lineman. His big frame allows him to have a blocking advantage. Lewallen is primed to have a starting role this season on an offensive line that has been thinned out with injuries and graduation.

Because of his years in the program and knowledge, Lewallen should have a major impact on the offense by utilizing his frame and be a driving force to the run game this season.

Up Next: Making one of the most memorable plays of 2012, our No.23 player hopes to be more impactful on both offense and special teams in 2013
