Indispensable Badger #23

Counting down the days to Wisconsin opens training camp, Badger Nation's new summer feature will rank the 50 most indispensable players of the 2013 Wisconsin football team. Today we reveal No.23.

Kenzel Doe

Position:Wide Receiver

2012 Stats: Played in 13 games with one start … Caught 16 passes for 121 yards … Made seven kickoff returns for 195 yards … made eight punt returns for 99 yards, including an 82-yard return for a touchdown against Utah State … Had a career-high three receptions against Northern Iowa.

Strengths: Doe has incredible speed both with and without the ball. He has good solid hands that the coaching staff will rely on this season.

Weaknesses: Doe's only major downfall is his size. Being 5-8 makes jump balls tough for him. Look for the Badgers to use him for quick throws on slants and longballs.

Overall: Three-star recruit Doe will look to impact the Badgers again this season as a number two receiver and as a possible candidate for punt and kick returns. With his speed and athleticism, Doe has an opportunity to shine this season no matter what role he is put in. His experience over the past two seasons will help him out whenever it is crunch time. Look for Doe to step in for plenty of reps this season.

Up Next: Our No.22 player made critical errors late last season, but had a strong spring and will be vital to putting points on the board for the Badgers
