Good Feedback for Veloz

One of the top players in state in the 2015 recruiting class, Oak Creek (WI) offensive lineman Nathan Veloz gets good feedback from the coaching staff during Wisconsin's junior day.

Wisconsin held their junior day this past weekend and one of their visitors on hand was Oak Creek (WI) junior offensive guard Nathan Veloz and he talks about his experience at Madison.

"The visit went great," Veloz told BadgerNation. "I enjoyed it a whole lot! I like everything about Wisconsin."

The 6-4, 310-pound lineman – an early three-star recruit by - got the opportunity to talk to secondary coach Ben Strickland during his time there and got some encouraging news.

"We met the coaches and our position coaches, saw the Ohio State game, then went to eat and had a campus tour," Veloz said. "The visit was very nice, but I talked to Coach Strickland and he just simply said I'm in the mix of the top guys, so that is good."

As far as any more upcoming junior days, Veloz has nothing in his plans to date.

"I have no more junior days yet," he said. "I was invited to both Nebraska and Illinois's junior days, but they were both the same day as Wisconsin's junior day, so I couldn't go."
