"I talked to Coach Brown and he told me that he likes the way I run the ball," Denson told BadgerNation. "He also told me that I would be a perfect fit for Wisconsin. I actually reached out to him on Twitter, but (Sunday) was the first day I talked to him and they must of liked what they had seen.
A 6-foot, 215-pound prospect, Denson currently has offers from Cincinnati, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Tennessee, UAB, Wake Forest and West Virginia. Denson says his top two schools are North Carolina and Tennessee, but Wisconsin is moving up his early list.
"I will definitely be looking at Wisconsin and I love their run game," said Denson. "I am for sure interested and they are not a sleeper offer. I was surprised about the offer because it came from a running back school. They are very good at running the ball and that is good for running backs. I know a little about their running backs like Montee Ball. I really like that they run it very much and run it straight downhill."
A do-it-all-type back, Denson understands that his junior season kick started his recruitment and all the offers he has received, but he still looks to improve.
"My past season went all right," said Denson. "I didn't do too much, but enough to get on a roll with my offers. As far as my game, I would describe it as very explosive and speedy big back. If I know you are in my way, then I will run you over, but if you're not in my way, then I can make a move and just fly past you. I want to work on more of my explosiveness and breaking tackles. I want to show that I can still stay up and drag defenders."
