Jurkovic Loved Wisconsin

Brandenton (FL) IMG Academy junior offensive guard Mirko Jurkovic is high on the University of Wisconsin after his visit to campus Thursday.

Wisconsin has had several visitors on hand these past couple of weeks, but no one has traveled further than Brandenton (FL) IMG Academy junior offensive guard Mirko Jurkovic, who took in Wisconsin's only closed-door practice of the spring Thursday.

"The visit went great," Jurkovic told BadgerNation. "I got to meet with Coach (Gary) Andersen for awhile and really got to get a feel for the program. Coach Andersen was just telling me that they really like me and they are going to be down at IMG Academy for spring ball to personally evaluate me. Coach Andersen was a very genuine from what I saw."

The three-star offensive lineman holds offers from Connecticut, Purdue, Toledo and Western Michigan. He is hearing from a host of many other schools like Florida, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Penn State, Missouri and Michigan.

However after this visit to Wisconsin, Jurkovic is really high on the Badgers and everything it has to offer.

"I love Wisconsin," said Jurkovic. "The football program, the academics, and the college life aspect of Madison is great."
