Long Journey Worth it for Holtorf

One of the handful of out-of-state visitors on campus for Wisconsin's spring game, Seward (NE) defensive lineman Adam Holtorf got a chance to talk to a number of coaches during his visit.

Seward (NE) defensive lineman Adam Holtorf was the farthest traveler to come watch the Wisconsin spring game this weekend. Despite the long trek to Madison, the visit definitely didn't disappoint.

"My visit went really good," Holtorf told BadgerNation. "I got a chance to see the indoor facility, the new academic center and we got to tour the weight room. I also got a chance to talk with Coach Guinta, Coach Woods and Coach Andersen.

"Coach Guinta and Coach Woods were both happy that I was able to come back up and visit. They both said they were still impressed with me on film. Coach Andersen wanted me to make sure I knew where I stood with them. He had great things to say about me and I had a good conversation with him."

The 6-5, 265-pound defensive lineman holds offers from Harvard, Kansas State, North Dakota State, Ohio, South Dakota State and Yale, but was there any mention of a Badger offer during his time at Wisconsin?

"The talk of offering didn't really come up," said Holtorf. "The coaches talked like they still are evaluating me. After visiting, I was impressed. I had a good visit and I am definitely interested in them."

Holtorf will be visiting Iowa on Monday, Wyoming next weekend on the 19th and Kansas State on the 26th.
