Chmura Makes it to Madison

Making it to Madison following his ACT exam in the morning, Waukesha (WI) West junior outside linebacker Dyson Chmura had enough time to interact with defensive coordinator Dave Aranda.

Waukesha (WI) West junior outside linebacker Dyson Chmura made it into Madison this past weekend to see the Wisconsin spring game and got some time to interact with defensive coordinator Dave Aranda.

"The visit went well," Chmura told BadgerNation. "It was nice seeing a preview of the team. I arrived a little late due to the ACT, but I got to talk with Coach Aranda. He said that it was good to see that I made it out to the game. We then talked a little about his linebackers. He also asked just how the recruiting process is going and which schools that are recruiting me, but no talk of offering."

With the visit to Madison in the books, what does the 6-3, 190-pound versatile linebacker think about the Badgers?

"I am very interested in Wisconsin," said Chmura. "They got great academics and football school. I really enjoy the coaching staff. Wisconsin is high up there for me."

The son of former Green Bay Packers tight end Mark Chmura and younger brother of Michigan State redshirt freshman tight end Dylan Chmura, Dyson holds offers from New Mexico and South Dakota, but is also hearing from Michigan State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Pittsburgh and Iowa State. He plans on going to Michigan State's spring game.
