Marquise Copeland has been flying under the radar the past year at Bedford (OH), but the linebacker has seen his offer list expand this year.
Copeland, 6-3, 220-pounds, landed another big offer Thursday when Wisconsin made their intentions known.
"The Wisconsin offer was huge for me," Copeland stated. "They were at my school about a week ago, and we've been talking since then. They called today and told me they were offering me a scholarship. It means a lot, and it's an honor to have an offer from such a great school."
"They want me to come up there for a visit, and I'm planning on getting up there before the end of May," he added. "I'm definitely very interested in Wisconsin."
"I'm not favoring any school right now at all, and I'm wide open as far as picking a school," he explained. "I'm looking to visit some schools this summer for sure. I have visited Kentucky, which was a great visit, I want to go back there again. I wrestle and run track, so visits are tough right now."
"I do want to visit Illinois, Cincinnati and Louisville for sure, and maybe a few others too," he stressed. "I am hearing from some new schools like Michigan and Michigan State, and I would love offers from both of them. I'm definitely going to Michigan State's camp, and I think I'm going to Michigan too."
