Badgers Stay Busy in Dallas

After giving Dallas South Oak Cliff athlete Willie Smith his first scholarship offer, Wisconsin did the same with his teammate, junior cornerback Takadrae Williams.

Dallas South Oak Cliff saw the Badgers recently invade and offer their junior athlete Willie Smith along with his fellow teammate in junior cornerback Takadrae Williams, who feels honored to be land his first offer from Wisconsin.

"My defensive back coach told me about the offer, but I thought he was joking around and I actually seen it on Twitter too," Williams told BadgerNation. "It was a truly a blessing. They are at the top for me.

"I really haven't experience anything yet from Wisconsin, but I really like the uniforms. Honestly, I have heard nice things about the school and I personally think this opportunity would be advantageous for my career and success."

The 6-2, 170-pound might not have that lofty ranking or lengthy interest list (he says he's hearing mostly from Baylor, Houston and Texas), but feels it is only a matter of time before his recruitment explodes.

"My recruitment is starting off slow right now because I just got my first offer," said Williams, "but I'm expected to blow up real soon."
