Fox Sees Early Playing Time at Wisconsin

Citing Wisconsin as a great academic institution and football program, Jersey City (NJ) St. Peters Prep junior defensive end Jordan Fox was excited when running back coach Thomas Brown extended him an offer.

One of the most tenacious recruiters on Wisconsin's staff has been first-year running backs coach Thomas Brown. Known for his recruiting prowess in Georgia, Coach Brown was in New Jersey recently and offered Jersey City (NJ) St. Peters Prep junior defensive end Jordan Fox.

"Coach Brown came to my school and sat me down and extended an offer," Fox told BadgerNation. "It was a surprise, but I was very happy and felt bless to receive such a great opportunity. Wisconsin is a great academically and has a great football program."

"He talked to me about Wisconsin in general, the amount of linebackers graduating and that I could come in and compete for a spot early. I like it a lot. Early playing time is always great and exciting. I hope to go and visit."

The 6-2, 215-pound versatile defender holds up to 15 offers right now, but hasn't narrowed anything down just yet.

"I am hearing from Miami, Louisville, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Syracuse and Boston College," said Fox. "I haven't come out with my top list yet. I'm still taking visits."

Fox plans on visiting Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Miami. He also will be going to Stanford and Michigan State to camp.
