A national high school powerhouse is Fort Lauderdale (FL.) St. Thomas Aquinas and one of their top players is junior cornerback Damon Arnette. Wide receiver coach Chris Beatty was in the Sunshine State and extended a couple offers out at the school, with one going to the physical cornerback.
"I spoke to Coach Beatty during practice and he let me know I have an offer," Arnette told BadgerNation. "I was very excited. I like how they are in the Big Ten, but don't really know too much about them. I know a few players went there from St. Thomas Aquinas. I for sure plan on visiting."
The 6-1, 185-pound three-star corner currently holds offers from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Florida State, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Mississippi, South Carolina and now Wisconsin.
"My recruitment is going good," said Arnette. "I don't have no top list, any leaders (or) no dates for any visits yet.
"I can see myself playing in the Big Ten and I love the Big Ten. All I hear is good things about Wisconsin, so be on the lookout for me."
