Norfolk (VA) Lake Taylor sophomore cornerback Wayne Davis is becoming more of a hot commodity and many schools are eager to deliver a relationship with the young phenom. Wisconsin has been making rounds in Virginia and, with no surprise, made a stop to see Davis, but what happened after shocked him.
"The Wisconsin coach came to my school and said he liked my film, but I had to leave because I had to finish my test," Davis told BadgerNation. "After my test, I went back to class and he told me that I had gotten the offer. I was surprised."
The 5-11, 165-pound aggressive corner holds offers from Clemson, James Madison, North Carolina, Ohio State, Tennessee and Wisconsin, but has no schools sticking out to him at the moment. Having a three-day camp scheduled at James Madison and will participate in one day camps thereafter, Davis hopes that he can find time to make it out to Madison.
"Wisconsin has a great team and has awesome fan support," said Davis. "I also like their uniforms. I really don't know that much about Wisconsin other than that, but I do plan on visiting after I check my schedule."
