Several after Sotolongo

A long list of schools have offered 2015 safety Antonyo Sotlongo. The Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep standout says on that list, there's a few that have been recruiting him the hardest.

Offers continue to roll in for Antonyo Sotolongo, who's number of offers has entered double-digits.

"I haven't really come up with a top list, I'm just keeping my options open," he said.

"Over the course of this year, I've been talking to Wake Forest, Duke, Arkansas, I've been talking also with Purdue and Tulane, so those schools have stood out to me more than a lot of other schools."

For the 2015 safety, there's a lot to like about the Duke program.

"Top twenty, for starters. It's an amazing school, a good football program, everything's doing well," he said.

Wake Forest is another school Sotolongo has his eye on and he's been learning more about the Demon Deacons' program.

"Wake Forest, for the most part, I really don't know a whole lot but I'm learning. I've been looking up some things. Academic-wise, I know it's an amazing school for academics. Sports-wise, they're good but they're not like top top," he said.

Arkansas signed one of Sotolongo's Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep teammates in this past signing class, and that gives the Razorbacks a leg up in recruiting Sotolongo.

"Arkansas, for starters, it's in the SEC, that's the big conference that everyone wants to play in. I already have a teammate who's going there, Cornelius Floyd, he's going there, so that's a friend, a teammate, a brother if you will, that I would be with if I do end up going there," Sotolongo said.

This summer, Sotolongo and his Gulliver Prep teammates are taking a big trip to lots and lots of schools around the country. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound safety doesn't expect to make his decision that quickly though.

"For me, I'll say probably mid-season or end of the season, I'll probably make my decision. After some official visits," he said.

"I'm looking for a good football program, good coaches, good chemistry between the teammates, and then academics. I have to make sure I'm going to a good school."
