Standout Sophomore Adds Wisconsin

One of the top 2016 tight ends in the Midwest, Cincinnati (OH) Moeller tight end Jake Hausmann has added an offer from Wisconsin.

Cincinnati (OH) Moeller tight end Jake Hausmann is one of the fastest rising sophomore prospects in the nation. He has been racking up new offers left and right and got his latest from Wisconsin when tight end coach Jeff Genyk gave him the news.

"My coach asked me to contact Coach Genyk and told me," Hausmann told BadgerNation. "When he offered me I was thrilled. He said that they really liked my film and that they are excited about me. They also want me to get up there for a visit."

"I am interested in Wisconsin. They are a great program and they have produced a lot of great tight ends over the years. I do plan on visiting, but have not determined a date."

The 6-5, 235-pound athletic pass catching tight end sits as an early four-star recruit by Scout.com. Holdings offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Virginia, Hausmann labels his recruitment as "exciting."

"All of the schools are so great," said Hausmann. "It is going to be fun visiting and learning about all of them. Right now I plan to go to the NFTC in Columbus on Sunday as well as the Irish Invasion Camp."
