"I felt like spring went really well for me. I got stronger in the weight room and the game has really slowed down for me," Jordan Griffin said.
"It was a big spring for me, I think I picked up about thirteen, fourteen offers this spring, so it was a pretty good spring for me."
Some of the schools that offered are Wisconsin, Boston College, Cincinnati, and Purdue. UCF was the first to offer and South Florida has also been in the picture for awhile with Griffin. The Armwood star already knows one of his official visits.
"I already set an official visit to Wisconsin for the Nebraska game on November 15th, so I'll be there. That's the only one that I set," he said.
"Wisconsin, they have a lot of tradition, I love the type of defense they play. They play fast and physical, that's the type of defense I want to be in in college."
The 6-foot, 210-pound athlete also visited UCF for the Knights 7on7 Saturday and spent some time on campus after the event.
"UCF, they're an up and coming program. That was my first offer and I just love the way they play, they play with a will to win. That's something I want to be a part of, a winning program," he said.
Griffin isn't quite sure when he'll make a final decision. It could be before summer ends, but then again there's that Wisconsin official on the calendar, so it could be near the end of his senior season.
"Me and my family will probably start narrowing it down in a few weeks, getting ready for decision time, but right now, I don't have any favorites," he said.
"I want to visit the campus and see if it's a place I can fit for the next four years, a place that feels like home. That's going to be the major factor for me, somewhere I feel comfortable and I feel that I can be a part of the program."
