Anxious to see one of the top schools on his list, Sebring (FL) defensive end Luke Ancrum recently talked to defensive coordinator Dave Aranda and is planning for an unofficial visit to Wisconsin in August.
Ancrum, a 6-4, 220-pound defensive end prospect is currently flying under-the-radar for many schools, has intrigued Wisconsin with his size, strength and potential to be a threat off the edge.
"(I'm looking forward to seeing) just the coaching staff, the players, just all around the city," Ancrum said about the upcoming visit, which will be his first to Madison.
Ancrum said he is high on Wisconsin, which was the first power five school to offer him. He also has offers from Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern and Pittsburgh. While he has yet to make a list of his top choices, his decision will likely come down to the four that he already has offers from.
Having already taken unofficial visits to Miami and FAU, Ancrum said his next step is to make a list of his final schools and hope to make a commitment before his senior season begins in the fall.
