After putting a lot of effort in getting some of their top uncommitted prospects on campus for the school's summer camp, and gaining nine verbal commitments in the process, the Wisconsin coaching staff has turned its attention to getting kids on campus in fall.
Starting to secure official visits for some of the program's seven home games, Wisconsin has secured another official visit from Miami (FL) Gulliver Prep senior safety Antonyo Sotolongo.
"I will be taking an official visit to Wisconsin on October 24th," Sotolongo told BadgerNation, citing the Badgers first Big Ten meeting against Maryland. "It is going to be an interesting trip and I can't wait for the experience."
The 6-1, 200-pound holds several offers from BCS schools like Arkansas, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, amongst many others. The Badgers entered the fold and that was a big offer for the under the radar ballhawk safety.
"I do have an offer from Wisconsin," said Sotolongo. "I found out when they came to Gulliver and my reaction was that I was very happy. I am interested in Wisconsin a lot. I like a lot about them. They got a lot of team chemistry and I like it."
Sotolongo recorded 50 tackles and four interceptions as a sophomore.
