James Wowed by Wisconsin

Spending the past two days on the campus of the University of Wisconsin, Carmel (IN) senior athlete Isaac James can see himself playing for the Badgers.

Carmel (IN) senior athlete Isaac James made no attempt to hide how much he enjoyed his unofficial visit to Wisconsin over the past two days.

“It was a great visit,” James told BadgerNation. “Driving into campus was exciting and seeing how much life there (is) was crazy! I got to meet with academic advisors and talk education for awhile and then I go to hang out with the players and coaches, which was the most fun. They are an exciting group to be around and know how to have a good time.”

It was very evident of how wanted the 5-11, 180-pound three-star prospect is to the Badger coaching staff with most of them giving him quality time.

“I talked to Coach Andersen, Coach Woods, Coach Aranda and Coach Strickland,” said James. “They all told me that they would love to have me on the team and that I’d be a good fit for the program. They have a great school, great people and a great education.”

Saying the badgers are in his top three along Indiana and Northwestern, James plans to commit after he takes all his visits and will probably be taking the visits during the season. Odds are that he’ll be back in Madison.

“I’m very interested in Wisconsin,” said James. “I got the feeling that this could be the place for me than anything.”
