Milford (PA) Delaware Valley senior running back Nas Bonner is gearing up for a big season, but that hasn’t slowed down his focus on his recruitment.
Hearing from a combination of small and big schools, Bonner has a lot of options, but still considers Wisconsin his heavy favorite.
One of the main reasons the three star 5-10, 185-pound tailback and No. 86 ranked running back strongly likes Wisconsin is because of how personal running back coach Thomas Brown is to Bonner.
“I like how when we talk it is barely about football,” Bonner told Badger Nation. “We get into each other personal lives. I would like to get to know him more. It is Running Back University.”
Bonner admits that he hasn’t heard from Wisconsin lately, but points to the coaching staff getting ready for this weekend’s season opener against LSU. Planning on taking an official visit to Wisconsin during the season, Bonner knows that the Badgers will make the cut when he trims his list.
“I don’t have a top list yet, but will have one soon,” said Bonner. “It is a 10 out of 10 Wisconsin makes the cut. I want to commit close to signing day and the main factors will be playing time and a good role.”
