“I have recently heard from Wisconsin,” James told BadgerNation. “I was on the phone with Coach Andersen the other day talking about getting me and the family back up there. He is a great guy and each program that he has been part of he is changing for the better. He basically told me that he really wants me to be a part of the program and that I’m one of their main priorities.
“It feels good when I hear him say that because that is a very prestigious program and school as well and coming from him and all the staff it makes me feel more invited and needed rather than just wanted.”
The three-star 5-11, 180-pound athlete is projected by a receiver at the next level, where he ranks as the No. 87 wide receiver in the nation by Scout.com. Now he is working to finalize where he will be officially visiting this fall and has a couple places in mind.
“I am going to take an official visit to Wisconsin, but I don’t have the exact date yet,” said James. “I really like Wisconsin Indiana, Northwestern, Missouri mainly, but I also like Western Michigan, Army and Navy. Those first four are not officially a top four. Those four (Wisconsin, Indiana, Northwestern and Missouri) I mentioned for sure will be getting official visits. I don’t have a date for when I will decide, but probably after my visits.”
