Winter Garden (FL) West Orange senior wide receiver Jalen Julius was once a Florida commitment, but has since stepped back to look around at all his options. Wisconsin has been a school expressing interest in him and defensive backs coach Bill Busch recently made contact with the talented Sunshine State standout to visit. Could a visit to Madison be in the works then?
“I’m trying to set an official up soon, probably to the Nebraska game” Julius told BadgerNation. “I’m very interested in the University of Wisconsin. I like the coaching staff as a whole and Coach Busch came to my school on Friday and talked to me. He talked to me about coming up for a visit and coming to Wisconsin to play both ways."
The dynamic and versatile 5-11, 175-pound Julius is getting looked at by some schools, like Wisconsin, to play both sides of the ball, which is something the No. 70 ranked wide receiver in the nation wouldn’t mind at all.
“My thoughts of playing both ways in college is great,” said Julius, a three-star prospect who also plans on visiting Louisville this fall. “It is a better chance for me to go to the league.”
With good communication with the coaching staff being the top priority for whatever school he chooses, Julius hopes to decide later this month or November.
