Frank High on Wisconsin

With a quarterback already in the mix for 2015, the Wisconsin coaching staff is starting to look at prospects in the 2016 class, like Oswego (Ill.) junior quarterback Steven Frank, who visit the Badgers this past weekend.

A familiar face to the Wisconsin coaching staff is Oswego (Ill.) junior quarterback Steven Frank, who camped this past summer and was once again in town as he took an unofficial this past weekend.

“It went well,” Frank told BadgerNation. “The campus was really nice and I had already been there once for a camp, so I’ve seen most of it. We ate breakfast and then went to the game and got to go in the locker room after.”

The 6-4, 212 pro-style signal caller already holds offers from Illinois, Miami (OH) and Minnesota, while hearing from several others. Frank has seen his interest in Wisconsin shoot up after the trip and hopes to land an offer from the Badgers.

“I talked to the quarterback coach (Andy Ludwig) mostly, and he said he was going to watch my film again and get back to me,” said Frank. “I like Wisconsin a lot. My favorite part of the visit had to be when the college students did the ‘Jump Around.’ That would be huge for me if they offered.”

Frank plans on visiting Michigan State sometime this fall.
