Wisconsin has kept busy this past week on the recruiting trail to try and find the last few recruits to fill out its 2015 recruiting class.
One new name that has popped up on UW’s radar is Delray Beach (FL) American Heritage senior athlete Trenard Davis, who new defensive backs coach Daronte reached out to earlier this week to offer a scholarship.
“Coach Jones called me and told me I had the offer,” Davis told BadgerNation. “He also told me that he likes how I play and enjoyed looking at my film. He wants to get me up there. I am interested in Wisconsin a lot. I have always liked the school, so it was good and it was nice.”
A 6-0, 195-pound two-way athlete, Davis noted that he was getting recruited by the Badgers for defensive back. Previously recruited by Pittsburgh, Davis is anxious to see the Badgers and some familiar coaches before national signing day.
“I don’t have a top list,” said Davis. “I am taking an official visit to Florida Atlantic this weekend and Wisconsin on the 30th. I just want to see if I feel like there is a family vibe and the school is good in academics because I am a good student.”
