Brown Talks Wisconsin Offer

Approaching 20 scholarship offers, Potomac (MD) Bullis junior outside linebacker Cameron Brown added his 19th scholarship offer from the University of Wisconsin Sunday.

Wisconsin’s coaching staff is in full swing with the 2016 class and has identified plenty of prospects on the East Coast. One of their first post Signing Day offers went to Potomac (MD) Bullis junior outside linebacker Cameron Brown, who is very interested in the Badgers.

“I called Coach (Daronte) Jones and he let me know,” Brown told BadgerNation. “He was just wondering if I was interested and was going to try to make a trip up there. I don’t know for sure yet if I will visit, but I’m going to try.”

The 6-2, 205-pound linebacker already holds offers from Boston College, Iowa, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Old Dominion, Penn State, Rutgers, Virginia, and Wake Forest, West Virginia among others.

“I was excited to have another offer from the Big Ten because they are one of the best conferences to play in, if not the best,” said Brown. “Right now I’m highly interested in every school until they give me a reason not to be.”

Brown will be visiting Virginia on February 28 and North Dame on March 27.

“My recruitment is good,” said Brown. “I’m just trying to get out to some schools. I don’t have a top list yet, but I will towards the end of spring when I’ve got around a little bit more.”
