Top Soph. Offensive Lineman to Visit Madison

One of the top offensive lineman in the country in the 2017 class, Scottsdale (AZ) Saguaro sophomore offensive guard Kayden Lyles will check out where his dad played college football when he visits Wisconsin next month.

One of the top prospects in the state of Arizona is Scottsdale Saguaro sophomore offensive guard Kayden Lyles.

Already holding double digits offers, including Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and USC, Lyles and his brother, junior quarterback Kare Lyles, will be checking out Wisconsin on March 12.

“I have heard from Wisconsin a couple times last year, but not recently,” Lyles told BadgerNation. “I would be interested, but I haven't heard from them in a while. Maybe it will be different when I go and see them. I am very excited to talk with the new coaching staff.”

The 6-3, 300-pound Lyles sits as an early four-star recruit by Scout and was offered by the previous staff at Wisconsin, but the family has a strong connection to the new coaching staff. Lyles’ father, Kevin Lyles, was a former teammate of current offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Joe Rudolph.

“Madison is a great place,” Lyles said. “I am looking forward to meeting the coaching staff and visiting with family and friends.”
