Local WR Checks out Wisconsin

With Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst and his staff big on keeping the best prospects in-state, the Badgers welcomed Green Bay (WI) Ashwaubenon junior wide receiver Jaret Curtis to campus Sunday.

Green Bay (WI) Ashwaubenon junior wide receiver Jaret Curtis has picked up steam in his recruitment by hearing from several schools, including Wisconsin. The local wide out made the short trek to Madison to watch their spring practice and take in the campus and loved every part of it.

“It was awesome,” Curtis told BadgerNation. “I loved everything about it. The coaches were great, the facility was gorgeous and the campus just had a great feel to it.”

The 5-11, 187-pound Curtis got the opportunity during his time at Wisconsin to also chat with a few of the Badgers coaches, like recruiting coordinator Ben Strickland and special teams coordinator Chris Haering.

“They said they want me to come to camp, that they were possibly going to come up and visit my school this spring,” said Curtis. “I am very interested. The coaches are great, awesome facilities, great academics and I love everything about Madison as a city. Wisconsin is an incredible program and I can definitely see myself in the Red and White if the opportunity presents itself!”
