Lambert Starts Camp Circuit

Rockford (Ill.) Auburn junior linebacker Alfonzo Lambert camped at Wisconsin this Sunday, and has a busy summer of camps coming up. He talks about that and more on Scout Recruiting.

Junior Rockford (Ill.) Auburn linebacker Alfonzo Lambert tripped to Madison to check out Wisconsin and their first one-day camp of the season.

"It went very well, I received a lot of feedback and the coaches say they like me," Lambert said.

The 6-1, 215-pound prospect's latest offer comes from North Dakota State on Tuesday evening.

"I like that they win championships all the time, what more can you say. And they see me continuing that steak, plus they have a great coach," Lambert said.

But as for Badger's camp, that went well for Lambert.

"I liked all the great competition and playing in Camp Randall stadium. And I liked showing my talents to the coaches. It was overall good to see where I am at and where I can improve my game and receive feedback from elite coaches," Lambert said.

The Badgers coaches had good feedback for Lambert while he was on campus.

"They enjoyed my game, speed and my running motor. They also said they liked that I never backed down from competition," Lambert said.

Lambert plans to make a return trip to Wisconsin in the coming months.

"The campus was nice, clean and I like the architecture of the buildings. It's also easy to get around since the facilities are right by each other," Lambert said.

And the Auburn High standout has several other camps planned.

"I plan on Illinois this Sunday, Northwestern, Indiana, Michigan and a few more. I am having fun and enjoying the process although I might be driving my parents crazy," Lambert said.
