Nazareth Academy rising junior running back Ivory Kelly-Martin is a prospect to watch in the coming years -- and has three offers to his name.
“Recruiting is going really well. I have done five camps and out of those five have picked up three offers. I expect more to come from the camps that I have done because they have generated a lot of interest. Most schools just want to know if my knee is alright, and it is fully healed,” Kelly-Martin said.
The 5-11, 170-poudn prospect liked what he saw in Madison.
"I like everything at Wisconsin. After the camp they took my family and I on a tour of the campus and facilities. And we loved everything about it," Kelly-Martin said.
Plus, the running back tradition at Wisconsin has definitely garnered his attention.
"I also love how they speak about the running back position and the pride it carries within the university with running back," Kelly-Martin said. "I talked with Coach Settle prior to the camp and when I got there we seemed to click as well as the other coaches. Their views of the running back position was so in sync with what I do and believe a running back role and abilities should entail. It felt like the perfect place for me."
"I am excited. I was able to get back last season but only about 75-percent for the semifinals and then state finals game. But now, being back at 100-percent and having my full speed and cutting ability feels great. I look forward to to being back on the field and proving that I am a five-star caliber running back and defensive back this upcoming season," Kelly-Martin said.
