Dan Voltz Healthy and Ready for Wisconsin

Proclaiming himself healthy after offseason ankle surgery, junior center Dan Voltz is ready to start camp and help Wisconsin build a talented offensive front.

MADISON - Dan Voltz thought he caught a break when his injured ankle was only a severe sprain. In reality a break might have been better for Wisconsin's returning center.

Leaving both the Big Ten championship game and the Outback Bowl in the first half because of leg injuries, Voltz re-injured his left ankle after being brought slowly along during spring practices. Instead of building chemistry with a young line, Voltz watched the majority of spring with a walking boot and crutches.

Now feeling his nagging injuries are behind him, the veteran starter talks about his current health, the state of the line and the upcoming fall camp.
