Antonio Williams on an Early-Season Roll

The four-star tailback, and University of Wisconsin commit, is tearing through opposing defenses at the start of his senior season.

MADISON - If there is a running back who has made a bigger statistical impact in the first two games of his high school season, New London (NC) North Stanly tailback Antonio Williams would like to meet him.

The University of Wisconsin commit has been on a tear through the first two games of the regular season, reporting a 321-yard, three-touchdown performance in the season opener and rushing for 385 yards and five touchdowns last weekend.

If he keeps up his current pace of 355 yards and four touchdowns per game, the 5-11, 212-pound Williams will finish the regular season with 3,883 yards and 44 touchdowns.

Rated a four-star prospect, the No.15 running back in the country and the No.221 overall prospect, Williams committed to Wisconsin in December over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and others. Even with a new coaching staff, Williams has stated he is 100 percent solid to the Badgers and plans to take his only official visit to Wisconsin this fall.

Here’s a closer look at the first two games of his season:
