Wisconsin Interested in RB Ivory Kelly-Martin

2017 running back Ivory Kelly-Martin recently made a change and is now at Oswego (Ill.) East after starring at Nazareth Academy his junior season (1,917 yards and 33 touchdowns). He also added an Illinois offer and has spoken with many new schools. Scout got all the latest on him here.

Ivory Kelly-Martin had a great career at Nazareth Academy. He won two state championships there, earned All-State honors and finished his junior season with 1,917 yards and 33 touchdowns.

Now at Oswego East, he is still seeing plenty of recruiting interest come his way. He recently added an Illinois offer, bringing his total to nine and numerous other programs are in contact.

"The following schools are showing interest but have not offered are Arizona, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Louisville, Boston College, Michigan State, Penn State, Minnesota, Tennessee. I just visited Louisville for their junior day and I have had some great conversations with the Tennessee coaches and I have scheduled a call with them this week."

That Illinois offer was his second from the Big Ten, joining Wisconsin.

"As all my offers, it meant a lot but when it's from an in-state school, those are the coaches that see you the most it confirms that you are doing something right. As far as it being a Big Ten school, that does carry a lot being a power five school but in the end I measure everything on how I connect with the coaches and how they see me fitting in their system."

He already had a chance to get to Champaign this year and meet with Bill Cubit and his staff.

"I visited during their Junior Day on January 31st and the visit went well. I got to speak with all the coaches and checked out the facilities. My parents also showed me around campus seeing the dorms and housing they stayed at when they were students."

As he continues to field interest Kelly-Martin is also working hard to ensure he goes out with a bang as a senior and is ready for camps this offseason which may help him add to an ever-growing offer list.

I am weight lifting at school with the team and participating in indoor and outdoor track. Also, working out at EFT and participating in EFT 7 on 7. I received invites to the Nike Opening Regional Camp and the Rivals Camp Series. I have not had a chance to create a schedule for college camps.
