OL Mike Donaldson 6-6 320 5.3 Mansfield, Ohio
I've personally met Mike Donaldson and I have to say his size is legit. Donaldson has been offered a few scholarships but he's looking for an offer from a Big Ten type caliber school. You can't coach size and Donaldson has it. I wouldn't be surprised if he were playing football in the Big Ten conference or its equivalent next season.
"I've been offered scholarships by Akron, Bowling Green, Kent and Cincinnati." Donaldson said. My top five right now would be Ohio State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Notre Dame, Pitt and West Virginia."
Donaldson was selected for the all Ohio team as a junior and so far in 2001, his Mansfield squad is off to a 4-0 start. This past summer, Mike camped at Notre Dame and he was invited to Ohio State's elite camp.
"Ohio State thinks I'm a sure thing and I think that's why they haven't offered me a scholarship yet. There are a lot of schools out there who thought I was an Ohio State lock and that's why they haven't recruited me very hard. I'm just going to keep working hard and everything will work out for the best."
Donaldson carries a 3.4 GPA and he scored 18 on his ACT. He plans on retaking that test.
