New Page 1
  • Wisconsin linebacker Alex Lewis's punt block against the Running Rebels was his second of the 2003 season and the third of his career. In the first game of the season against West Virginia, his block resulted in a UW touchdown.

  • Senior wide receiver Lee Evans had two pass receptions extending his school record of consecutive games with at least one reception to 28.

  • The rain soaked game against the UNLV was a sellout, the 54th out of the last 64 home games.

  • The Badgers turned the ball over five times against the Rebels, three fumbles and two interceptions. It is the most for the Cardinal and White since they had seven against Northwestern in 1995.

  • The UNLV win was their second in six games against the Badgers. In their last three meetings, the Badgers outscored UNLV, 131-31. The Rebels will return to Camp Randall next season and the Badgers will make their fourth trip to Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas in 2007.

  • Rebel wide receiver Earvin Johnson had five pass receptions against the Badgers and Michael Johnson caught two passes. They have now caught passes in 21 and 23 consecutive games, respectively.
