Wisconsin falls from top 25

Devastating loss to UNLV knocks Badgers from rankings

After losing, 23-5, at the hands of UNLV, Wisconsin, which entered Saturday's game ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press poll and No. 15 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll, has fallen from the the lists of the ranked.

Wisconsin (2-1) received 72 votes in the coaches poll (placing them 29th) and 50 votes in the AP poll (32nd). Both polls were released Sunday. Following their upset victory the Rebels received four votes in the AP poll and one in the coaches poll.

Four Big Ten teams are ranked in each poll. In the Associated Press, Michigan has moved to No. 3, while defending national champion Ohio State has slipped to No. 5. Also in the poll are Iowa (No. 18) and Purdue (No. 25). In the USA Today/ESPN poll, Ohio State (No. 4), Michigan (No. 5), Iowa (No. 14) and Minnesota (No. 24) are ranked.

Wisconsin next faces North Carolina (0-2) at 11:00 a.m. (CDT) at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wis.
