Luke Tiemann (6-2, 210, 4.66), LB, Pflugerville, Texas (Pflugerville HS) - Wisconsin is his leader and it may be more of a question of whether the Badgers have another scholarship available for a linebacker. Tiemann has also received offers from, and is considering visits to, Baylor, Minnesota, Houston and Kansas. After Wisconsin, though, he is more interested in Texas Tech and Texas A&M, who have not offered yet.
Amos Gbunblee (6-4, 240, 4.6), TE, Cypress, Texas (Cypress Springs HS) – Extremely athletic tight end has the speed to split a seem and the frame to develop into a solid blocker. He ran the 800 in 2:02 last spring, combining endurance with agility. Perhaps no recruit Wisconsin is in the market far would better fit a need than Gbunblee. He is also visiting Kansas State (Dec. 12) and Missouri (Dec. 19).
Tim Jamison (6-3, 230, 4.8), DE, Harvey, Ill. (Thornton Township HS) – Considered one of the best, if not the best recruit in the state of Illinois. Jamison had 20 sacks, 12 tackles for loss and 18 hurries this season. Jamison may have switched his Dec. 5 visit to Michigan, but he is still expected to visit Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan State in addition to the Wolverines. Michigan has not offered, but the Badgers, Hawkeyes and Spartans have, along with Northwestern, Illinois and Indiana within the Big Ten.
John Thompson (6-2, 230, 4.6), LB, Detroit (Crockett Vocational Tech) – Was a consensus All-State selection as a junior. Played middle linebacker on same team as Badger commit Nick Sutton. Very athletic and strong enough to handle the middle in the Big Ten. Had 130 tackles and 10 sacks this season. Also has offers from Michigan, Iowa and Indiana. Expected to take an official visit to Michigan Jan. 9.
