WR Enrique Cook 6-2 185 4.4 Chicago, Illinois (Mt. Carmel)
Mt. Carmel High School, located on Chicago's south side, is one of the nations perennial powers. Year in and year out the Caravan churns out D-1 Football prospects. This year, speedster Enrique Cook is head coach, Frank Lenti's prized recruit.
Cook is a super wide receiver that takes track & field just as serious as football. This past summer, Cook participated in several track meets in Europe. Enrique is looking for a school that has super football and track programs.
"I want you to write that I'm completely open right now." Cook said. "I haven't closed the door on any opportunity. Oregon is recruiting me pretty hard. Wisconsin is one of my favorites. I'm not worried about Wisconsin's probation as much as my parents are.
Northwestern and South Carolina are on my short list. Miami visited my school the other day. I sent a highlight tape to UCLA and I'm very interested in them. I haven't set up any official visits yet.
Cook is among the top 50 prospects in the Midwest.
