Otis McDaniel (5-11, 175, 4.46), WR-CB, San Antonio, Texas (William H Taft HS) – McDaniel visited Purdue last weekend and has Texas Tech set for Dec. 19. A top-notch receiver, McDaniel could also play corner at the next level. McDaniel is also a high-quality track athlete who can run the 100-meters in 11 seconds and triple jump 44' 3 ½" The Badgers will have to sell their passing game and cadre of receivers to a top recruit whose other December visits are to teams that are famous for throwing the ball.
Dave Peck (6-5, 225, 4.75), TE, Wallingford, Pa. (Strath Haven HS) – Peck committed to Wisconsin in early November. An accomplished blocker, Peck has the athleticism to develop into a strong receiver and is also an acclaimed long snapper. Had 13 catches for 301 yards this season.
Marcus Randle El (5-10, 172, 4.5), QB-DB, Harvey, Ill. (Thornton Township HS) – Randle El would like to play quarterback but could end up on the field as a defensive back or possibly as a receiver. Randle El has reportedly narrowed his decision to Wake Forest, Wisconsin and Northwestern. He visited Wake Forest Nov. 22.
Emmanuel Spann (5-11, 163, 4.5), WR, Atlanta, Ga. (Westlake HS) – Receiver has scholarship offers from Marshall, Louisville and Middle Tenn. State. On the light side, but certainly can run. No. 111 receiver in the nation and No. 83 player in Georgia, according to TheInsiders.
Corey Spells (5-11, 171, 4.47), CB-WR, Atlanta, Ga. (Mays HS) – A late riser on the recruiting charts, Spells has visited Wake Forest and is considering visits to Auburn, Florida and Duke. Those four, plus Wisconsin, are his top five. According to Spells, Mays only allowed eight receptions all season. Ran the 20-yard shuttle in 4.09 at a Nike Camp last spring.
Demon Glanton, DB, Atlanta, Ga. (Mays HS) – Another part of the heralded Mays' secondary was free safety Glanton, who could play corner or safety in college. Glanton will join Spells on a visit to Madison, Wis. this weekend.
Nick Hayden (6-5, 275, 4.80), DL, Hartland, Wis. (Arrowhead HS) – Hayden committed to Wisconsin in late August and went on to have a fantastic senior season, earning the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association's Defensive Player of the Year award. Hayden was a consensus first-team all-state selection, earning the honor from the WFCA, Associated Press and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Hayden played both end and tackle at Arrowhead and helped lead the team to back-to-back WIAA Division 1 state title games.
Joe Walker (6-2, 200, 4.5), OLB-WR, Green Bay, Wis. (Notre Dame HS) – Walker is considering an offer to greyshirt at Wisconsin. A fantastic all-around athlete, Walker was named the Associated Press Wisconsin State Player of the Year for his exploits as an offensive and defensive end. He is also receiving interest from Kansas State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State and Texas Tech and has long had a scholarship offer from North Dakota State.
Chris Pressley (6-2, 258, 4.55), RB, Woodbury, N.J. (Woodbury Junior-Senior HS) – Highly regarded running back rearranged his visit schedule after his Woodbury team made the state championship game. Pressley will visit Maryland (Dec. 19), Stanford (Jan. 9) and Tennessee (Jan. 16) after the Badgers. He was recently named one of two Southern New Jersey offensive backs of the year.
